We are passionate about what is personal. Without passion, your business won't go very far. How do you know if you are passionate about something? The first measurement for passion is how you feel about something. When you hear,the subject mentioned do you get excited, or does it register in your mind like everything else. Passion begins with interest and a strong passion indicator is how you use time. You will spend time doing things you are passionate about. Have you ever noticed that what you are interested in you spend most of your time doing. Early in my career, I worked in schools and one of the things I notice about children is at an early age you could always see their interest. Whenever it was time for recess certain children would rush to certain games to play. This happened everyday, the same kids, the same games. And there were also the kids who didn't seem interested in playground activities at all. I never figured them out. I have the same problem today with people who don't want to be successful.

This leads me to the lesson for today. So you have personalized your business, now are you passionate about it? Do you run to it each day like the kids on the playground? Or do you just stand in the corner waiting for recess to end. Your business is like your own personal playground, where you are free to do whatever you want to do. You can make as much or as little money as you want. You can talk to as many people as you want. And most importantly unlike at school you don't have to wait for the bell to ring, you make your own hours and for the most part your own rules.

That sounds like a lot to be passionate about to me. But for most people this is not enough, they need more to be passionate. And that is why it is important to personalize your business interest.
